Volunteers in the Vaults Event

Had a wonderful time connecting with the folks from Queens Library and the volunteers who helped with the Queens Memory Project last Thursday during Volunteers in the Vaults! Monica and I gave a building tour to our guests and Carol, our long-time board member of Bayside Historical Society, shared many fun stories about the history of our organization! We even had our local “Piano Man” waltz in mid-tour to play the piano, much to the surprise of everyone. I suppose this is what gives Bayside Historical “life” as one visitor described it.
